     Paying for a damage waiver does not mean you can be careless with the property. Please treat Timberwood Cabin with the same care and respect as your own home. Our goal is to provide every guest with an elegant and classy residence for maximum comfort.

     We appreciate your responsibility and consideration in keeping our home in excellent condition for future guests. Thank you!

Damage Waiver Activation

✔ Damage Waiver must be purchased before check-in and confirmed to be in force.

✔Coverage will only be in effect when the Waiver is in Force.

✔ If damages exceed $3,000, the guest is responsible for the remaining balance.

Damage Waiver Guide

     Submitting a damage notice is a straightforward process that allows the host of TimberWood Cabin to review in a timely matter and report it. Damages caused by you the guest at TimberWood Cabin vacation rental property must be reported within 24 hours and before you check-out.

File the Damage Report

     File the damage report through the online portal within 24 hours or before check-out to be considered covered. If you do not report it and we discover it after you checkout, YOU will be responsible financially for the repair and/or replacement in full.

     Include as much information as you have available at this time. If we require more information about the incident, we will contact you. Communication is important to process the claim. Please be patient.

     Failure to report damages may result in loss of coverage and full financial responsibility.

Provide Photos and Description

     Timberwood Cabin requires to have photographic evidence of all damaged items. Please insure photos or/and videos of any item that is damaged by YOU the Guest or Guests that stayed during the reservations dates.

     Upload clear, high quality photos that show the damage done. Aim to provide…

      1. Close-up photos of the damage for each item
      2. Photo showing the entire damaged item
      3. Photos and/or description of brand/model if applicable.

Damage Description

In the damage description field, give a detailed explanation of the damage, including:

      1. Number and type of items damaged ( Ex. 1 stained 5×8 are rugl 1 broken fridge shelf, part No. WPW10321304)
      2. Extent and suspected cause of damage
      3. Make/Model/brand of damaged items ( Ex. 55″ Sony or LG Television in living room)

Guest Financial Responsibility

You, the renter / Guest, agree to be financially responsible for the following during your rental period, as these are not covered by the Damage Waiver:

    • Odor or smoke smell removal
    • Toilet unclogging fees
    • Clogged plumbing due to misuse
    • Excess trash removal
    • Dog feces cleanup (inside & outside the property)
    • Dog hair removal from furniture, beds, and linens
    • Towels must never be used on animals
    • Damage to Walls, Doors, Ceiling, Patio, Jacuzzi
    • Damage to Entertainment Room Games

By signing, you authorize charges to your credit card on file for any of the above if necessary.

This agreement ensures guests acknowledge their financial responsibility for uncovered damages and provides clear authorization for charges if needed.
