Beautiful cabin,
Highly recommended. Gorgeous place, very clean and comfortable. Lots of extra amenities, nice game room, hot tub, kitchen fully loaded. This place is one of a kind. We will be renting it again. Thank you.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic 3-day stay at a Timberwood cabin in Big Bear with our two kids. It was close enough to walk to grocery stores and restaurants. The cabin itself was a perfect fit for our family. It was spacious enough for everyone to have their own space, and the cozy living area was ideal for curling up with a book or movie after a day of exploring. The kids especially loved having their own bedroom, and the bunks were a big hit! Thankfully, the cabin had air conditioning, which was an absolute must-have in July! The afternoons in Big Bear can get quite warm, and the AC kept us cool and comfortable throughout our stay. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location offered the perfect blend of seclusion and convenience. We would highly recommend this cabin to other families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable getaway in Big Bear!

Wonderful spacious cabin with a great location! Only 10 minutes from the slopes/trails and even closer to Big Bear Lake. Fully loaded with a game room and jacuzzi. 10/10, Would recommend!!

We were able to park our cars in the drive way which is amazing!! It’s such a family home, it was perfect for our summer gathering. The distance to shops was – nothing! It’s in the heart of the city you can typically walk if you wanted. 10/10, Would come again!!
Timberwood Cabin
As a newly minted retiree, we still wanted to enjoy going away but with more cost awareness but without settling for mediocrity. We wanted a log cabin with all the bells and whistles within walking distance to the lake and, to our favorite breakfast and dinner places. Big Bear Cool Cabins delivered when they booked us at 424 Mountainaire Lane. It is within .7 miles from city center … and just a few blocks to the lake. Best of all, the cabin was amazing! The open concept front room with cathedral ceiling made us feel so spoiled with all the luxurious amenities. While we never used the kitchen since we dined out the whole time, you can absolutely cook a gourmet meal with everything at your fingertips … with plenty of seating .. in fact, the property accommodates 9! The Master Bedroom with the en-suite and walk in closet was so divine … especially for someone who always over packs without fail. There are 2 other bedrooms, 1 with 2 double beds and the third with bunk beds. With just the 2 of us with all the space, we felt a little spoiled rotten but for the amazing rate .. we definitely did not feel bad for too long. The laundry room came in handy so we ended up going home with our bags packed with clean clothes. This property checks all the boxes … We hope we can secure this property again come summer time but this time, perhaps bring 7 friends to enjoy this wonderful property. -Virginia-

Very nice place. located not too far from the ski lifts. the 1 downside is their are only 2 tv’s in the home.. 1 in the living room, and one in the garage, so if you are use to having tv’s in the bedrooms to help fall asleep or relax, you won’t be able too. Aside from that nice place.

Stayed with kids
Our family had an amazing time. The actual look and feel felt much more high end than the pictures showed, which was a pleasant surprise. It was nicely decorated and open, and the perfect walking distance to town, to restaurants, and to the lake (and playgrounds for our little one). The team was super helpful with check-in and when we left something behind. The neighborhood was mildly busier than we were expecting (the house is on a residential street with close neighbors) but the proximity to fun places and restaurants made up for that. The kids loved the game room – between air hockey and a chess table and other games, they were occupied the whole time we were inside. Overall, it was priced a little higher than some of the other homes in the area but ultimately we had a fantastic trip and would definitely come back.
