Central Air Conditioning & Heater
Being at 6750 Feet elevation, has its advantages. We have a great fortune of averaging 10-20 degrees cooler than down in the flatlands. As Such, most homes in the Big BearValley do not need air conditioning. If the house is warmer that you would like, simply open the windows or doors and the home will cool off very quickly.
In the late afternoons, the temperature will drop quickly to help cool you down.
The Timberwood Cabin is one of the rare homes in Big Bear Lake that is equiped with a central Aircondition and Heater. For your convenient, You can use it to cool you down. Please do not leave the Aircondition running all day and night and when you happen to leave the premises to go shopping or eat lunch or dinner. Please help us save energy.
Since the common deer mouse has no collar bone, these little creature can squeeze through a crack 1/4 of an inch wide ! Since Big Bear is located in the middle of the mountains, sometimes they come to the homes for shelter.
We do everything possible to insure the Timberwood Cabin is mice free. We have a company overlooking the activity and insuring that Timberwood Cabin is Free and clear of these creature. But in case you should see or hear anything, please call the office so we can take care of it immediately.
Once the snow melts, Ants start to move around. A few simple steps can help keep your belongings ant-free. Be sure to keep all food off the counters unless it’s completely sealed. If it can’t be sealed, place it in the fridge. If you spot any ants in the home, just use a sponge with dish soap to wipe them away—the soap residue will deter them from returning. If the problem persists, don’t hesitate to call the office for assistance.
Yah, we have them. Most common house Spiders will make their way into the home no matter what. Don’t panic if you should have them in the house and you cannot reach them to kill them. Please fee free to call the office, we have specialty trained “Spider Killers”.
